Why Kangen Water Ionizers???

Kangen water is delicious healthy water that is created by a home ionizing unit manufactured by Enagic in Japan. Enagic’s, innovative water technology had been around since 1974 and their water ionizers have a life span of around 30 years. Not only does this water technology filter your tap water (getting rid of many of the contaminants while keeping the naturally-occurring minerals), they also produce ionized, alkalized and strong acidic waters through an electrolysis process which creates water that is essentially ‘living’ and so full of anti-oxidant properties!!

No matter which machine you choose, Kangen machines have a lifespan of 20 to 30 years. We know this because Enagic has been a leader in the healthy water industry for almost 5 decades.

But wait what??? Water that contains anti-oxidants??

Yes, you read that correctly. in fact, this electrolysis process I just talked about leaves us with what’s called ERW, or Electrolyzed-Reduced-Water. But not just any type of water...

Here are some problems with drinking the most commonly used waters…

Tap Water

Tap water is a healthier option than a soft drink. Sure. But according to the Environmental Working Group, there have been 278 pollutants found in America’s tap water since 2004.. and over half of these pollutants are completely unregulated!! This means that, unfortunately, these pollutants can legally exist in any amount!! But legal doesn’t always mean safe. Pretty scary, right??

At the current level of contamination, the public is starting to question the quality of tap water and many wonder if it is even safe enough to drink at all. Based on this alone, it is no wonder that the demand for Kangen water is constantly increasing.

Bottled water

Bottled water is not necessarily any healthier than tap water but is sometimes associated in such a way. And not only has it never been guaranteed or proven to be any better (often the only difference is added synthetic minerals), it costs a lot more and is creating some pretty detrimental environmental impacts!

A 4 year study by the Natural Resources Defense Council shows that 1/3 of the bottle water tested contained levels of contamination which exceed the allowable limits!! Again.. pretty scary, right??

​Bottled water can also be slightly acidic, which may affect your body’s PH balance.

Finally, the environmental impact caused by the production and disposal of single-use plastic bottles is harmful to our entire ecosystem!

Reverse Osmosis water

Reverse osmosis is a filtering process which may be effective in areas that do not receive municipally treated water and is commonly used in bottle water facilities. The problem with this process is that reverse osmosis removes healthy, naturally-occurring minerals in the water. These minerals not only provide good taste, they also serve a vital function in the body’s system. When stripped of these minerals, water can actually become UNhealthy. Adding minerals back into this type of water was once thought to be a solution but we now know that the synthetic minerals being added back in can cause health concerns of it’s own.. like building up in our system! Also, 2-3 gallons of water are wasted for every gallon of reverse osmosis water produced!
